MONUMENTS:

FRANCISCANS' CONVENT
Placed according to the ancient ones to a hundred of steps of the proper Town at present due to the growth of the municipality, it is inserted in the same one. In the convent of the barefooted Franciscans, there was venerated the image of Ntra Sra of Majano, was called this way, so according to the tradition one appeared on a heap of singings (stones), to a Sacristan of the nearby Town of Alía. The temple was consisting of five altars and a major reredos. The residence of the proper ones friars was consisting of 17 cells, two offices, two cloisters, one cave and a magnificent garden. The convent was devoting itself to Santa Maria and his first guard was Brother Sebastián de San Francisco, big preacher and with provincial posteriority of the Order.
It is begun in 1617, finishing in 1620.

THE MILLS
Realized in stone and used in the antiquity to grind it flour that later would constitute the bread. These mills were working during the whole year, thanks to the big force and plenty of waters of the river. They were consisting of five big stones or grind much fast. With a domed covering, and with some way arch point. Constructed by means of granite rough stone and with a fortress lime mortar. At present these can still be observed although are not used by them, for the bread creation.

STONE BRIDGE
It was ordered to construct in 1380 for the Archbishop of that time of Toledo and Duke of Road, D. Pedro Tenorio. The works finished in 1388. It is realized in granite, contains semicircular arches that go diminishing towards the sides. For the biggest arch wealth of the river thinks up everything . The central arch measures approximately 14,5 m from surface of the water. Of two central arches two were starting towers worked in granitic chairs; both were solid constructions that were defending the Bridge. The first tower was cuadrángular of massive aspect, the second one of plant hexagonal rhomb of more slender profile although of minor elevation. Ends of the S were knocked down to . ROLL OF JUSTICE
It is a question of a Gothic monument worked in granite and divided in five parts: Bleachers, base, shaft, capital and auction. The high base, it decomposes in two bulls, the second one contains works of esferitas, the base as the shaft contains a body ocogonal. The shaft divides into nine drums and the set in two parts equal, separated by a cornice; in the second one two ledges are warned leaned and in a top plane and in two sides different, two small figures zoomorfas that form together with ledges a harmonic set. The capital possesses square form, they draw to every side two pearls and a projecting head of lion, which resemble the gargoyles of the Gothic buildings. On the above mentioned, a body is, also of form squared in shield without escutcheon in each of the sides. The auction, a pyramid forms of four pearls attached to the base, some others in the center and to every side and finally the major one in the summit.
The roll `-pillory possesses a slender figure. It is one of the copies more valuable that they survive in the province of Toledo. It is necessary to say that the pillory of Bridge of the Archbishop is of the calls "Of giving club", although there does not exist any document that he confirms, which in the same executed any person.

PAROCHIAL TEMPLE
Dedicated to virgén Santa Catalina and martyr. Formerly in this one temple there were said the hours sung to imitation of what was done in the biggest church of Toledo. The temple constructed itself next to that today is the Retirement home of Santa Catalina, ancient hospital. In the construction of the church two styles are used, Gothic and Mudejar, of both testimonies survive today, in spite of the reform that is done in this church in the S. XVIII. The tower of bells is of Renaissance style, worked in the S. XVII, in good granite chairs, with ball auction.
