It is understood that it is said this way because close to I populate there are done and grow up many tufas (big and abundant thistle in the territory).

The XVIth century is the big one century of The Toboso, the epoch of major strength, and of repopulation. MISTRESS MARRIES
Building of rectangular plant of two heights; it has a front flat of stone that is finished off by cornice and two shields; on she, to every side, and in first floor, appears a rectangular window framed in stone, with rejería. The factory is of masonry with ashlar in corner. It possesses covering to two waters in the bodies side and to four in the head office.

CONVENTS QUIET PANSIES
Building of rectangular plant and two heights constructed in the century XVII. His style herreriano impresses for his simplicity and austerity. The slender bulrush seems to be of later construction, presents hood divided in two slender turrets. There counts the convent with cloister of two plants and baroque church. In his interior one lodges museum with a valuable collection of paintings and religious images of Spanish school of the XVIIth century, gold work, embroideries in gold, etc. Her church appears in a rear corner and a central cloister. East place was founded by don Alejo Morales Nieva, in 1681.

CHAPEL OF SAN BLAS
Building of rectangular plant and flat apse, which ship is covered by barrel vault. Pilaster with ionic capitals and cornice that covers the ship. CHAPEL OF SAN SEBASTIAN
Building of rectangular plant of only one ship that covers with wooden framework. Triumphal arch of half a point, supported in thick capital props moldurado; the biggest chapel is squared and there is covered by dome of orange average on scallops lantern being finished off for , baroque decoration. Aside semicircular arch that gives step to the vestry. To the feet, semicircular arch adovelado, framed for alfiz of ashlars. The biggest chapel, which emphasizes in volume of the rest, is of ashlar and it is covered to four waters, being finished off by a small rectangular belfry of four eyes.

SAINT'S CHAPEL ANN
Building of plant of Latin cross with very short ship, of which only part of the walls survives. As for the cruise, four arches survive torales, as well as part of the high drum that holds the dome and of those who close the arms and head. It makes of thick masonry walls, with ashlar in corner.

CHAPEL OF CHRIST
Building of rectangular plant, consisting of a central ship and the side one on the south.

PAROCHIAL CHURCH
Dedicated to San Antonio Abbot. His style belongs to last epoch of the Gothic. The plant is squared by three equal ships, and her crucería vault, it rests on big cylindrical columns. In XVIIth century three stretches were added: the high altar, the wings and several chapels. In that of the Irons a San image survives Agustín whose head, of polychrome wood, belongs to the school Castilian of the XVIIth century. The fronts are ends Renaissance men of the XVIth.
