The voice "Escalonilla" makes to think in his relation with Escalona; perhaps populated by the Escalona Town, or in some time dependent on that town. In his jurisdiction it preserves a called place "White Houses", it was the first place populated of the one that will speak to himself later.

In his term headstones have found of Celtic origin, being able to suppose that this Town, in his march towards the south, lives in this place later romanizado. The population continued in the epoch visigoda. Of the Moslem domination place name Valdelamora stays . It appears in registers Mozarabs of XIIth and XIIIth centuries.
