Gálvez is a patronymic origin surname Basque, that some of the resettlers was taking or his gentleman in one document of the ends of the XVth century gathers the species of which this one I populate his name been the first "Toledillo" and later "Galbes" or "Gálvez". It was repopulated by neighbors of Toledo, probable thing for his closeness to the Mounts of Toledo and to the villages that belonged to this city. These places were inhabited by Hispanic - Roman. In the XIVth century appears as place of fighter for bears and jabalíes. In the XVth it is in possession of don Pedro Suárez of Toledo, who melts Gálvez primogeniture.
