Town hall

In his beginning the village was called only "San Julián", until in this pasture they got up, to attend to the walkers and shepherds, some "sales", from here to the name of village "The Sales of San Julián", where there was a dedicated chapel to this saint.

The territory is a flatness covering of mount, from which the cerrillo of The Calvary stands out. When the territory begun to be repopulated, after the occupation Castilian, it was distributed in pastures, inside the Oropesa dominion. One of these pastures, it was that of San Julián. It was a step place and in the XVIIIth century there were already three inns, in spite of his scarce one population. It belonged, like the whole Oropesa dominion, diocese of Avila and in this city they were paying his taxes to. (Fte.-Texto Delegation to see link)
