Town hall

The word "Yébenes" is a degeneration of the "yebel" Arab, that means "mount", perhaps because the town locates in oriental end of the Mounts of Toledo. In his origins it seems that The Yebenes were two towns concerning a "Sale of Bienes" of the one that would derive the name of "The Yebenes" when they joined at the beginning of the XIXth century.
