Earth already inhabited by the Hispanics - Romans, but it is after the Reconquest when the territory begins his repopulation. The Malpica dominion exists already in 1253, linked to Ortun Ortiz Calderón. In 1307 it is a property of Fernán Gómez of Toledo, major notary of the kingdom of Toledo and Fernando's bartender IV. Peter I being in Talavera, in 1357, does donation of Valdepusa territory to Diego Gómez, his biggest notary, staying ancient Malpica dominion inside the most extensive of Valdepusa. In 1599, Felipe III created and Marquess of Malpica gave the title of to don Pedro Barroso de Rivera. Malpica was a head of this dominion. In the last third of the XVth century he contributes Malpica to the support of the Holy Brotherhood. In the second half of XVIth century this town was meeting the places of the dominion in San Martín de Valdepusa to carry out the distributions.
