Town hall

The name of Mentrida means "mount frequented or journeyed", for being a place that there was surrounded with one extensive outline of varied vegetation and numerous hunting.

The Mentrida origin places after the reconquest of area realized by Alfonso VI in 1085. From his birth even her disappearance of the dominions in the XIXth century is the only Town that always connects historical journey with the missing castle of Alamín.
