Town hall

In a letter of Alfonso VII, given in 1166, he quotes the village of "Moseión". This word supposes derivative, in his root, of the Celtic proper name "Mustius or Muscius". The end in "on" supposes a Mozarabic addition. From 1193 to 1253, Mocejón appears quoted in several Mozarabic documents with the name of Mozachón.

HOUSE OF THE INQUISITION
Building of rectangular plant, in corner and of two heights. Door centred on semicircular arch and on her I shield of Inquisition hollows more or less regularly distributed by front. A hollow to every side of the door with rejería in plant low and on them a small hollow in the high plant. Factory of masonry and brick, whitewashed. Covering to four waters.

CASTLE OF HIGARES
Only there stays the tower of the castle, to which the house has been leaned of the gentlemen, done later.

CHAPEL OF THE EDGE CROSS
Rectangular plant of only one ship covered for forged of wood, I hold for six suspenders that rest on stirrup.

PAROCHIAL CHURCH SAN ESTEBAN PROTOMARTYR
Rectangular plant, of three ships. Cruise covered by false dome with lantern. Major flat chapel, choir risen up to the feet, ship central with barrel vault with fanlights and wings with vault esquifada flat. Two chapels are opened at the head.
