It was called "The Nambrocas" or "The Ambrocas", this word could be related with "ambrones or ligures". Also it might refer, as in case of Mazarambroz to an "Amrús", Arab proper name, meaning "not distant place". At the end of the XVIIIth century two versions facilitate on his foundation to themselves; for some it was created by the Moors, and for others quarters of Toledo were two , deserted place one of the quarters stayed other. It belongs to the region of The Sisla. Cervantes mentions her in "The Quixotic", when don Quijote goes to watch the weapon to Sierra Morena and he leads him for the way of the Nambrocas, which without doubt some age the called Real way of Seville, ordered to do for Reyes Católicos, that it even exists.
