The same place name You "Nonsee" it could be Mozarabic, of Latin root, "novum". The relations of Felipe II affirm on this matter: "... It has been said that formerly it was called Nonvelds".

It is said that it Hebrews come to the Peninsula founded them after Palestine Nabucodonosor invaded and that of the old city of Canaán put to our place the name of "Nove". Some relation of the XVIIIth century affirms that it was created for the Greeks in 1250, before J.C.
