Town hall

Foundations of Roman spa were, possibly of the IIIrd century after Jesus Christ. Of the epoch visigoda there appeared a currency of Wamba and an inscription recounted to San Vicente Mártir. Also there is poblamiento testimony in XIIth century, since in this town they had possessions, between 1175 and 1207, the monastery of religious Cistercian of San Clemente, of Toledo.

The Hispanic-Roman population keeps on living in the territory along the Moslem domination. In 1752 town of the dominion of don Juan Francisco Melgarejo, Marquess of Quiroba. In 1787 it belonged to don Francisco Fernández of Madrid, canon of the cathedral of Toledo. (Fte.-Texto Delegation to see link)
