"Party" is the same that "to watch, to watch, to spy, lookout, watchtower". This significance confirms the fact of that one ancient population previous to Party called "Atalayuelas", which means "to look, atalayar, watch, etc....." The primitive population of this term was Atalayuelas. Her relation of 1578 says that the name changes about 1278 but there are two Parties, the first one of the one that remains preserve in the middle of XVIth century and the modern population who was founded about middle of XVth century. The territory was reconquered by gentlemen of city of Avila. In 1294 there are created the dominions of Party and San Román in favor of Fernán and Gil Blázquez of Avila, grouped in a primogeniture founded by his father Blasco Jimeno Dávila. His progeny governed the dominion and his populations. According to Cedillo, at the beginning of the XVIth century, they should have granted the Town title to Party. In 1557 of concede to Don Gomez Dávila, eighth master of Party, the Marquess's title of Party. The town is divided in two quarters, one on the south and other to the north, separated by a creek.
