The name consisted of Villanueva de Alcardete, comes from the place name Latin "Alcardete" of Arabic root mozarabizado that refers to one of the especes of mount the "oak wood". It derives from the Latin American "quercus", holm oak, and the completion "ete" Mozarabic; or well in epoch Castilian - Mozarab would come from the sufijación of word "basin" of Arab ancestry. CHAPEL OF OUR LADY OF GRACE
Plant of Latin cross of only one ship with five stretches and covering for barrel vault with fanlights. The cruise has a dome of orange average on scallops and the arms cover by means of one simple barrel vault. Entry to the feet across an arch reduced.

CHAPEL OF SAN YOKEL

CHAPEL OF SAN ROQUE

PAROCHIAL CHURCH SANTIAGO APOSTLE
