The term "Yuncler" is a Mozarabic place name, derived from "junko", which it means in Mozarabic "sedge". In documents of the XIIth and XIIIth centuries our Town appears with names "Ocner", "Yunquer" and "Yuncler". he quotes our village in Mozarabic documents of 1179,1197 and 1212, placing it in the Sagra of Toledo. In 1552 Towns quote between others that of Yuncler, on which Toledo had certain rights on his notaries. In 1576, being a local ordinary mayor Juan Díaz, named Diego Díaz, The Old man, and Pedro de Medina, for that were answering to a few questions that there was rising to them in one questionnaire sent by Juan Ramírez Tello, major second lieutenant of Seville and chief magistrate of Toledo. This information is valuable for to know our village, in the middle of the XVIth century. It is said that it is of a kingdom of Toledo and that it belongs to The Sagra, being realengo.
