Aulesti is the most inhabited municipality and more big of the localities that Lea's union shapes Ibarra. It is to half of the Medieval way Markina-Lekeitio, and mounts Iluntzar and Bedartzandi limit the municipality. It does not have town character, although it was arranged as such.
The municipality is formed by the city center and seven quarters principal, that are the following ones: Goierri, Ibarrola, Narea, Malats, San Anthony, Urriola and Zubero.
