Municipality vizcaíno placed in flat area watered by the river Gobelas for the N. and for his tributaries in the center and to the S.
Of character entirely rural, only in the last years one has had notable growth I half-close to his most important nucleus, with parochial church and the town hall as neuralgic centers of one poblamiento dispersed, characterized in his majority for more or less spread hamlets.
Of the medieval epoch they will speak our houses - towers to us, emphasizing, for his conservation and his antiquity, that of Otxandategi that it could have got about to construct in the first half of the XIIIth century. On the door of access to his interior we can see, sculpted in stone, a coat of arms that symbolizes the linkage of a heiress of this one lot with V Master of Break-in, celebrated about the year 1370, and that a decade ago was adopted by the Town like his escutcheon distinctively.
The first documentary testimony of the existence of ours parochial church goes back a year 1416, although Iturriza goes more there and makes sure us that it was construída for his parishioners diviseros, in the XIIth century.
As for the chapel of Santa Ann, there have been papers that it reveals it was constructed in the year 1627.
