The Vale of Trucios, region of the Encartaciones is included inside and it belongs to the administrative area of Balmaseda.


It borders to the north on the Vale of Guriezo, on the south on Carranza and Villaverde, to the east with Arcentales and Otañes and on the west with Carranza and Rasines.
