Previously he/she called himself to this village Aguilar of Inestrillas, and it consists that he/she had strong square and a castle whose vestiges have disappeared, that makes think that maybe these references are on next Inestrillas, where the remains are more evident.
The first historical (with doubts that they refer to this Aguilar) appointments speak from the donation to the monastery of San Millán, on the part of Mr. GarcÃa López, of some estates that this had in Aguilar in the year of 1143, "For yes and for the one it encourages of their wife doña Teresa."
More correct it is the reference of 1188, in the one that in the addition to the jurisdictions of Yanguas Gil appears as witness Gómez, Mister of he/she Attacks, Aguilar and Cervera.
