Description
The Municipality of Adeje is located to the Southwest of the Island of Tenerife (Islands Canaries), and it occupies a total surface of 105,94 square kilometers, being the sixth municipality in extension of the island.
Tenerife has two airports, the Airport Reigns Sofía, in the south of the island and to so single fifteen minutes in car of Costa Adeje, and the Airport of The Rodeos, in the north.

The first occupant of the territory was the aboriginal community integrated from the social and political point of view in the guanartemato of Gáldar, soon after the fragmentation of the insular territory in two Kingdom in next dates to the beginning of the Castilian conquest (1478).
