Algete knows to 30 km. of Madrid.Algete.Tk, it was created as first objective to help and to inform all the citizens of the municipality, later we were adding pictures, a forum, etc. to arrive to a plank of announcements, news, guard's pharmacies, temperature. But to continue growing we need your help, send us addresses of places of interest and we will study them, we also also need suggestions, with everything we will carry out it a very complete and useful web so that we benefit all. The second objective will be to give to know our municipality to all Spain and the rest of the world, for that reason we have given ourselves of high in some of the most important searchers in the world.

Apiary of Ear is located in the South of the County of Madrid, to about 50 Kms. of distance of the capital, and their term defines for the North with those of Valdelaguna, Chinchón and Villaconejos; for the South, with the county of Toledo and the terms of Villarrubia of Santiago, Noblejas, Ear, Ocaña and Aranjuez, in the dividing of waters of the river Cut; to the East, with those of Belmonte of the Cut, Villarejo of Salvanés and Villarrubia of Santiago; and to the West, with the term of Aranjuez.

Apiary of the Stream town of the autonomous community of madrid.It is not known with accuracy the origin of the municipality, due to the shortage of archaeological prospectings as historical references. However, they exist in some places of the such term as Becerriles, Cebadales, The Meadow -, remains of sepulchres, formed with stone flagstones in some case and of anthropomorphic type dug in rock in other that you/they could be respectively necropolis of Visigothic origin and altomedieval.
Likewise they have been ceramic fragments and tiles in the places of "Pradillo and Matazorras", being uninhabited possible tardomedievales or of the Modern Age, of those that, for lack of later studies we don't possess more data.
Although everything seems to indicate that the first establishments were shepherds' work and they took place in the XI Century they would occupy the current one it pierces of the Old Barn, in the west of the municipal term.

The name of the municipality doesn't have a clear origin although there is two hypothesis on the same one, after its appearance already in the Drop Half Age, first half of the XIII century.
One of them, links from old the name with the place that you/they occupied, in the XV-XVI centuries, the houses of Diego González Cousin, where there was, as they say, an apiary and near this he/she had their habitation an old man. Next to this place it passed the one on the way to Alcalá from Hayfields to Segovia that crossed the Orchards for the bridges Grajal and New.
The other theory speaks of the time of foundation of the place, as the oldest of those baptized with the same name, that is to say, of all the Apiary been founded in the current county of Madrid and near counties, as Guadalajara, the Old Apiary is that of more antiquity, the oldest, in front of others as Apiary of Ear, Colmenarejo, Apiary of the Stream, Apiary of Sierra, etc.

Their limits are: the county of Guadalajara to the East; the municipality of Puebla of Sierra to the North; Cervera of Buitrago and Robledillo of Jara to the West and Patones to the South. Their surface is of 29,5 Kms. squares.
It presents their territory a very uneven relief, with altitudes that reach those 1.389 meters of the mounts of Penilla and those 1.439 meters of Somosierra in the northern and oriental limits of the term, and those 1.399 of the Hill Head Antón, in the center of this, descending until less than 700 meters in the basin of Lozoya.
