Description

The cruise is finished off by a dome in whose pechinas is some tondos with S. Juan of Cruz, S. ElĂas and another sacred carmelitana, of artistic remarkable value. Formerly to their feet he/she was a tablet of 1717 presumably belonging to Alfonso's burial SolĂs and Ossorio Duke of Montellano, as it consists in the book IV of deceased folio 55 vto. of the parish.

Description
Lozoyuela-dale-Sieteiglesias town of the autonomous community of madrid.The first written documents that we find in connection with our municipality are of literary character, it is about Serranillas composed by the Marquis of Santillana (XV century).
Later on, we find references in the census and cadaster of the XVI century. For this time Lozoyuela had two population nucleuses: Lozoyuela and the Village of Relaños, located in the North end of the municipality near the Stream of the Dale Boulevard.
Among the XVI and XVIII centuries the population's constant growth takes place in Lozoyuela (I didn't seize in The Dales and Sieteiglesias that were much poorer).
Although the traditional activities of Lozoyuela are the cattle raising and the agriculture, in this time they begin handmade shops that will also provide to other municipalities of the district to flourish. Three mills are built, two in Lozoyuela and one in Sieteiglesias and Lozoyuela has millers, weavers, tailors, blacksmith, baker, hosts, bartenders, surgeon, children's teacher and own cure.

The birth of Majadahonda is not very clear, although it is believed that they were some shepherds segovianos, there for the XIII century, those that settled in the area and they built some few cabins. With the step of the time, those housings multiplied, giving place to a modest village called Sheepfold-sling, belonging in the first place to the "Country Segoviano" and later to the "Earth of Madrid."
Some discoveries archaeological siembran the doubt on the true origin of Majadahonda, because the appearance of remains of a town Roman-Visigoth could indicate that its birth was a lot of time before.
It was in the XVI century when Majadahonda begins to already transform into a village under conditions, with a census of 400 inhabitants. Some of them had like Brave last name, Montero, Red, Bustillo, Elegance, TallĂłn or Labrandero, which still last in the town. At the end of this century they already existed almost two hundred housings, inhabited by about 800 majariegos.
The nucleus of the village was the square, around which Santa Catalina's Church, a small hospital and a modest inn were. The town lengthened through the streets San Asleep, Real and The Christ.
