Sanctuary of Codes in Navarrese full mountain.In one of the most picturesque corners of Navarrese, abutting with Logroño and Álava, to the south of Peña of Yoar, to 814 meters on the sea level, he/she has their seat the Sanctuary of Our Mrs. of Codés.

Arellano, Roman Villa of the Muses town of Navarrese.The municipality of Arellano settles in the southern piedemonte of Montejurra, and its extension embraces from the vicinities of the mountain up to Three Mugas, the place where Arellano limits with Arróniz and Dicastillo. The municipality oscillates from the 444 meters of altitude in the area of Three Mugas until the 800 meters that it reaches in the foot of Montejurra. Falces, famous for their Garlics and the confinement of the Pylon.Falces comes from the word "Falcis" that means sickles or hooked knives. There are two interpretations on the election of the name; on one hand those that think are that they inspired by the agricultural sickle and for other those that defend that he/she is due to the bends or sickles that he/she drew the River Arga to their step for the population.
It is difficult to specify in that time the first human establishments were created in Falces. The archaeological remains that have been prove that already in the Age of the Brass it had populated in this territory, but it is still ignored if there were previous establishments.
The first historical data that we have are of the Century I, when the establishment of agricultural exploitations is appreciated, creating the Romans San Esteban's Roman villages and Villares, and other establishments distributed by the whole municipal territory.
