The monastery is located in an inigualable historical-artistic environment, of Cistercian origin and whose construction is prolonged from the XII century until the XIV one. Of the group of medieval constructions the base of the Church, the Cloister, remains the Room to Surrender, the punishment Cells, the Booth and the Kitchen. Corresponding the rest to successive remodelings of the XVI and XVII centuries. It is in very good conservation state and surrounded of mounts and natural environments of great beauty.

Abarzuza, paginates of tourist information of the City council town of Navarrese.The foundation of Abárzuza goes back to the XI century, however in 1198 the town belonged to the King of Navarrese, Sancho the Strong one.
It was in that time when the king donated it to the Church of Pamplona being reserved the right of summoning his neighbors in the event of war.
It was scenario of warlike episodes in the course of the civil wars among 1453 and 1461.
Administratively it belonged as place free to the valley of Yerri up to 1851, it dates in the one that separates to the help of the administrative liberal reformations.

The King Tebaldo I, in April of 1237, believe a town in "the puio Abaurrea" it has more than enough, between the terms of "Euiurrea" and (Abaurrea Lowers / Abaurrepea) "Sarasas", (Salazar) granting jurisdictions to the residents. Real Cartulario (III, p.274).
Among several hypothesis the accepted interpretation is that this new population located in an area occupied by the overboard from Abaurrepea dió place to the current population of High Abaurrea /Abaurregaina.

Description
Aberin-Muniain, paginates official of the City council town of Navarrese.The village of Aberin was donated in 1177 by Sancho VI the Sage to Templarios and in 1312 or 1313 it became property of the Hospital ones.
The town was part of Solana's Valley up to 1845, year that became in independent municipality. In their term Muniáin was included, Arínzano, Echávarri and Baigorri, but this last soon passed to be low the jurisdiction of Oteiza of Solana.
Before incorporating to the municipality of Aberin, Muniáin was also part of Solana's Valley. In their term he/she is a location outdoors, probably of the Eneolítico-brass, and the location protohistórico of the Hut.
