Municipality zaragozano of the region of the Field of Daroca placed in the eastern zone, in the limit with the neighbor Community of Calatayud.

It is a question of a locality that belonged to the Cistercian monastery of Stone until 1269. On the banks of the river of the same name, his helmet urban shows us good examples of popular architecture, emphasizing two constructions of the XVIIIth century: the town hall and her parochial church dedicated to the Asunción.

For Hamlet of Liestos there thinks up the Footpath of Big Trip GR-24, that happens for the regions of Calatayud and Daroca. The places more beautiful of this footpath are the Sickle of the Rio Stone, the Lagoon of Gallocanta (the biggest natural lagoon of Europe) and the Paramera of Half notes (the most important area for the European birds).

In the surroundings we will find three peirones, dedicated to the Virgin of the Prop, San Roque and San Antonio; and a chapel erected in honor to San Roque on top of a hillock.
