Artieda finds small hill placed on top of one , in the region of The Jacetania, to 40 km of Pony and 60 km from Pamplona. When the visitor comes to Artieda one finds elegant city center, with cobbled streets of big beauty and interest.

The Milky Way crosses the term, where there were hospitals to service of the pilgrims. A comfortable hostel them receives today in the city center. The projected regrowth of the reservoir of Yesa, that would overwhelm fields and part of the way jacobeo, is a constant worry for the inhabitants of Artieda, who have not moved back in his opposition to the work. The most traditional festive appointment is the pilgrimage to the chapel of San Pedro in Whitsunday.
