Historical municipality of the province of Saragossa, located to scarce kilometers of the capital and on the banks of the river bed of the Huerva. In his municipal term we find the localities of Lasa Colinas, Walls of Santa Fe and The Sisallete.

It was founded by the Arabs in the Xth century, and like sample of it, they preserve the remains of a defensive castle that dominates it locality and that with the name of Qadrit was erected to watch vale of the river Huerva.

Conquered by Alfonso I in 1119 it was; sold by Peter I to Pedro Navascues in 1212. Recovered for the Crown of Aragon, Alfonso III penetrated in 1289 to the family Shoe, which in 1358 donated the town and the fortitude to the Cistercian monastery of Santa Fe (unemployed person from the Mendizábal confiscation).

The Arabs inhabited the locality until 1610, date of the expulsion of the Moriscos, being repopulated then.

Bank of the Huerva is provided with a typical proper city center of the localities of , with housings that do not overcome two or three heights. The parochial Church counts with the sober but elegant one front, along with which yergue his erect tower of several bodies and bulbous auction.

The current population overcomes 2500 inhabitants and considering his proximity to Saragossa diverse urban developments have been constructed recently that they have helped to increase lightly the right population, although not so much like the building volume he could make to think (since there are enough the owners who are registered in capital and use the houses as the second housing).
