Leciñena is a municipality of the province of Saragossa (Spain), in the region of The Monegros. Located in full depression of the Ebro, on the foot of the Saw of Alcubierre.
Locality traditionally agricultural and cattle, after seeing big how part of his population was emigrating economic, basic diversification is present at a moderate for the survival of the municipality.
Historical places:
Parochial church of Our Lady of the Asunción. Gothic and Renaissance man. XVIth century. Major reredos of the XVIIIth century. Tower Mudejar, XVth and XVIth centuries with added of the XVIII.th century: Tower belfry placed to the feet of the Gothic church, of structure of minaret and with a domed interior mortar stairs; exterior decoration of tapes of esquinilla, simple and to tresbolillo. Also there appears a band of crossings of multiple arms forming rhombs.
Sanctum of Our Lady of Magallón. Caused in the XIIIth century he suffered numerous reforms and enlargement that culminated in the century XVIII. In January, 1809, during the second Place of Saragossa it was set fire by the French troop. During the XIXth and XXth centuries he suffered repairs and destructions. At present it is completely restored and shelters a rural house.

the most well-known celebration is the ancient and traditional “baile of seguidillas ”, it is celebrated in the holidays of March 15, commemorating the Arrival of the Virgin of Magallón.
