Plasencia of Landmark was a dominion of the Lanuza, Justices of Aragon in the XVIth century, up to the beheading of Juan de Lanuza, “el Young boy ”, in 1591. Confiscated his possessions for Felipe II, later Felipe III returned them to the family and granted the count's title of Plasencia to Pedro de Lanuza Urrea and Perellós. The lineage became extinct in 1768, for lack of succession, and in the XIXth century it went on to the marquisate from Two Waters.

The center of his old town, with twisted and narrow alleys that denote a Moslem origin, occupies the set formed by two constructions more typical of the locality: the church parochial and the palace of the counts. The temple is dedicated to San Antonio de Padua. It was built in Renaissance style during the century XVIII,

To one kilometer to the south of Plasencia one supports still in foot ashlars turret in the base and tapial in the high part, which had door in high place and patio.

There are two wind parks in functioning within a period of Plasencia of Landmark, one placed in the Pasture of the Coscojar and other in of Serreta, sharing term with Wheel of Landmark. (fte and texts to see links)
