Small municipality located in the stripe western of the region Community of Calatayud and washed by waters of the river Najima, along with the boundaries sorianas.

During the Middle Age, Pozuel was the last Town of the kingdom of Aragon before coming to the kingdom of Castile. The fortified Town of Monteagudo de las Vicarías, that 1 kilometer is distant only, already belonged to the kingdom of Castile.

It presents a multicolored town-planning framework in which we find good samples of popular architecture, as well as the attractive one Parochial church of the Asunción.
