It belongs to the region of Five Towns, although it is an adjacent municipality with the from Huesca region of the Hole of Huesca.

Puendeluna is placed on the banks of the river Gállego, being her ancient existence of a Roman bridge on the same one the one that gives origin to his name (in fact his name derives of being the place in the one that was finding the bridge of Moon, locality to which it belonged).

His origin was a small town, that there arose under protection of an ancient one bridge of toll, so called "Bridge of Moon", in an important Route Roman. "In 1.346 there was provided with the favor of King Pedro IV who granted to the Council of Moon, the faculty to receive the toll tax for the step of the Galician river in boat or for the bridge."

Parochial church of San Nicolás, reformed in the XVII.th century It preserves two Gothic reredoses of the second half of the XVth century, this way like some pieces of liturgical gold work of the XVIth century to XVIII.
