Municipality belonging to the Field of Daroca, located to the south of the region, very near to the province of Teruel.
It was an important Town during the reconquest, during the War of two Pedros. There survive remains of the enclosure of the castle of XIVth century, inside which the parochial San church is Pedro Apóstol of the XVIth century.

Romans there has also a beautiful chapel devoted to Our Lady of the Remedies, a source of Roman epoch and several peirones: that of the Virgin of the Prop and that of San Antonio of Padua.
On August 26 day of the crumbs, traditional holiday for excellence that is in phase of being declared of tourist interest regionally. Of this tradition his origin is not known, but the typical thing between the romaneros is to do crumbs between all those of the Town with bread and the ingredients that have been contributed also by everything her population. Then, the crumbs are distributed in the same hands and it distributes also wine, which is always donated by the same person, and it makes use in a tile with an almú.
