It is a small locality of the region of Aranda. They integrate the municipality the proper Sestrica, and the district of Viver of the Saw. It is the municipality more to the south of the whole region, placed in the spurs surorientales of the Saw of Virgin.

Our most important holidays are: Quasimodo (that we celebrate on following Sunday of Resurrection, and in that we eat the “culeca ”), the Virgin of Carmen (July 16), The virgin of the Meadow (25 of March), and San Bartolomé, that there are our management holidays and that we celebrate on August 24.

In the precincts of the ravine of the Shady ones there is an extensive one alcornocal, nearly 300 hectares. Special beauty talks each other of an enclave of , since this species one can consider authentic botanical relic to be one .
