The Tórtoles tower was built in the part more raised than a small hillock very next to Tarazona.
There was of particular dominion up to the process for falsification of currency of 1267 (there false currency was worked together with Trasmoz, Tarazona and Saint Olalla) in that it went on to the Crown. Integrated to the city center, to the tower a mosque was leaned about the middle of the XVth century and other modern housings, for what neither is exempt it is not even visible, and it is difficult to identify in actuality the preserved remains.
